Embed the bloom-odds calculator on your site

If you write about Japan, you can put our "will I catch it?" calculator right inside your post. Your readers enter their trip dates and see the chance of catching peak cherry blossoms or autumn leaves in the cities you pick, without leaving your page.

What you get (and what you don't)

Free. No sign-up, no key, no catch.
No ads and no affiliate links inside the widget. It shows the odds and nothing else. Your own links stay the only links on your page.
No cookies and no tracking inside the widget. No analytics, no storage, no requests to any third party. Everything it loads comes from triptoolsjapan.com, and its security policy blocks anything else.
Honest data. Odds are computed from Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) observations: cherry blossoms are centred on recent seasons, and autumn leaves are adjusted to when well-known viewing spots typically peak. Method and numbers: Open data. It is a historical estimate, not a live forecast.
One small link at the bottom, "Full odds & planning", opens the full calculator in a new tab for readers who want more.

Optional: let the frame size itself

The snippet uses a fixed height that fits the cities you picked on a phone. If readers switch to more cities, the widget scrolls inside its frame. To make the frame grow and shrink with the widget instead, paste this once anywhere on the page (it only listens for size messages from triptoolsjapan.com):

Questions

Will it slow my page down? The frame loads lazily (only when a reader scrolls near it) and the whole widget is a few small files from one server.

Do the numbers change? Yes, in the right way: when we update the data or add an in-season adjustment, every embedded widget shows it on the next page view. You never need to update the snippet.
